Laser illumination works with a camera, filter and optics. We select light for the event, recording speed and required field size.
Illumination for long sequences: operating point HSLL-H1 specifies a 20 ns pulse at up to 500 kHz. The source, driver, optics and camera are qualified together, with operating limits confirmed by FAT.
Illumination for ultrafast bursts: operating point UHSLL-U1 specifies up to 40 MHz with a 10 ns pulse at measured, potentially reduced power. Burst length and recovery time follow the qualified operating map.
A light module, optics and filter are matched to the camera and working area. The set can integrate with a SvarVid measurement system.
Technical catalogue of both platforms: operating points, long sequences and bursts, optics, synchronisation and factory acceptance tests. Includes a StarLight 4MV section.
